What Is Link Juice?
Link juice is an informal SEO term for the ranking value or authority passed from one page to another through a hyperlink.
Example
A homepage with strong authority that links to a new blog post passes some of that authority, or “link juice,” to the blog post, helping it rank faster than if it had no internal links pointing to it at all.
Why it matters
Understanding how link juice flows through internal linking and backlinks helps guide decisions about site architecture and which pages to link from, concentrating authority toward the pages that most need it to rank.
