The Blunt Rank · Waitlist open · Not launched yet

You pay four figures a month. They track a few hundred keywords. That stops now.

$100 tracks 2,000 keywords. Your competitors come back on the same calls, and we do not charge you for those.

The Premise

Keyword tracking got rationed, and nobody explained why.

It is a per-query cost with a markup on top. That is the entire mystery.

01

The package decides what you may know

Your keyword list is not set by your market. It is set by whichever tier your agency bought.

02

So the list gets curated

A capped list gets filled with terms that look good in a deck. The uncomfortable ones quietly do not make the cut.

03

Competitors become an upsell

The rival positions are already sitting in the same search result. Charging again to show them is a pricing decision, not a cost.

What we are not claiming: That every agency does this on purpose. Most inherit a tool cap and pass it on without ever questioning it. The result on your side is identical.

The Price

One rate. Move the slider and watch it stay honest.

There are no tiers to graduate between and nothing unlocks at a higher price.

100 20,000+

Past the end of the slider it is the same rate. Nothing changes at scale except the arithmetic.

How often each keyword gets checked

A check is one live search result, pulled fresh. Checking four times as often costs four times as much, because it is four times the work.

Competitor domains tracked alongside you
Up to 6, at no extra cost

They are read out of the same search result your keyword already paid for. Charging twice for one call would be a choice we would have to explain.

The Comparison

We are not going to guess what you pay. Type it in.

Every price on a comparison table is somebody guessing on your behalf. Here is yours instead.

Nothing you type here is sent anywhere. It is arithmetic running in your browser.

The two middle columns describe how those models are structured, not what any named company charges. We have not audited their invoices, so we are not going to print numbers for them. Use the calculator above with your own.

The Product

Eight screens. Every one of them built to be uncomfortable.

A tracker that only ever shows good news is a screensaver.

A / RANKINGS

Where you actually rank, right now

One live search per keyword, sorted by position. Nothing outside the top 100 gets handed a flattering number.

B / ALERTS

The things worth interrupting your week for

Sharp drops, top ten movement in both directions, ranking URLs that changed underneath you, and your own pages competing.

C / MOVERS

Gained and lost, side by side

Both columns, same size, on the same screen. The losses do not get a smaller font.

D / COMPETITORS

Who is actually ahead of you

Position by position across your whole list, plus share of visibility. Read from calls you already made.

E / TRENDS

The direction, not the snapshot

One run tells you where you stand. The shape of the line tells you whether the work is working.

F / HISTORY

Every run you have made

Kept per domain, location and device, so a desktop check never gets compared against a mobile one.

The Limits

What it will not do, before you ask.

Written now, while it costs us a signup, rather than later when it costs you a month.

What it is

  • A rank tracker priced by the check, not by the tier.
  • A live search per keyword, at your chosen location and device.
  • Six competitor domains, tracked on those same calls.
  • History you can export and take with you.
  • Search intent worked out per keyword, automatically.

What it is not

  • A backlink index. We do not have one and will not pretend to.
  • A keyword research suite. Bring your list.
  • A traffic estimate. A position is a position, not a forecast.
  • A promise that positions move. That part is the work.
  • Live yet. This page takes an email address and nothing else.

One caveat worth reading: A rank check is one search, at one location, on one device, at one moment. Anybody selling you a single true position for a keyword is selling you a simplification.

The Waitlist

One field. No demo call.

You get one email when it opens, and one more if it never does. That is the entire sequence.

Stored on this site only. Never sold, never shared, and deleted the day you ask.

The questions we would ask.

Why is it this cheap?

Because a rank check is a small, known cost, and we are pricing close to it rather than building a margin into a tier ladder.

Our money is made on the SEO work. This is not the thing we are trying to get rich on.

Why are competitors free?

Their positions are already sitting in the same search result your keyword paid for. Reading them costs us nothing.

Charging for them would be a pricing decision dressed up as a feature.

Do I have to be a client?

No. It is a separate thing at a separate price, and it is not bait for a retainer conversation.

What if I am an agency?

Then this is aimed straight at your tool bill, and you are welcome to it. We are not going to pretend otherwise.

The only thing we would ask is that you do not cap your clients at a number and call it a strategy.

When does it launch?

We do not have a date, so we are not going to invent one to make the waitlist feel urgent.

If it never ships, everyone on the list gets told that too.
